Beginners Highlight and Contour Routine

I have finally, finally, FINALLY made my first YouTube video!

I decided to record a very simple highlight and contour talk-through video to help people who have just started getting into this type of routine. I did use a few high end brands so I've put alternative drugstore brands that can be bought and do just as good a job in my opinion!

Gosh it's been a while! I have no excuses really haha, so from now on I promise I'm going to be much more regular with my posting! I have quite a lot of ideas in my head that I can't wait to bring to life and I really do hope that you'll enjoy them once they come to life.


Anyway for now I thought I'd just do a quick makeup and outfit post from a birthday dinner I attended last Saturday. I was feeling something different outfit-wise since my go-to for formal occasions is a midi dress or skirt, so I thought why not change it up and wear some trousers.

I really enjoyed the look of this outfit, very classic if I do say so myself! I think what brings it all together is the camel coat, trust me when I say this is a timeless piece in a person's wardrobe and if you haven't got one yet I urge you to consider buying one. The one I'm wearing is from a seller on an app called Depop, it was £13 and yes hunny it is real cashmere. No but seriously a lot of the time if something has caught your eye, have a quick glance on eBay or depop and I guarantee with some patience and perseverance you will find the item you want for a lot less.

5 Minute Summer No-Makeup Look

So as you can tell by the title this is just going to be a post about my lazy (rushed haha) make-up routine some summer mornings

So to start off with I prime my face and at the moment I'm actually using Aloe Vera gel and Benefit's Porefessional which seems to be working! I then move on to my eyebrows and since this is a more natural look I only use an eyebrow pencil with light strokes to fill in my brows. If I go wrong at all, I'll just quickly clean up my brows with a dab of my BB cream on an angled brush.

NYX Long Lip Pencil Haul and Swatches!

So today I'm going to be showing you my lovely NYX Long Lip Pencils that I got just the other week. Personally I love the NYX pencils as they're so affordable but still creamy and apply very smoothly! They are excellent MAC dupes as they last for hours on the lips without drying or cracking.

So the reason that I actually bought so many pencils (I bought doubles and even triples of some shades I liked) is because they were on sale on the NYX website for £1.50 each and not only that buuuuut all their sale items are on 3 for 2 right now, so they basically worked out to be £1 each! As you can tell I was a very happy lady :) I believe that they are gradually phasing out the Long Lip Pencils so grab 'em while you've still got a chance loves. Your Love Never Fails...

Hey Everyone,

This is my first ever time blogging and I'm nervous already haha!

Well basically I decided to create this blog just to give my views on life in general, it's probably going to be a giant mishmash of topics- ranging from my OOTD (outfit of the day) to my take on the most important thing in my life GOD.

As this is my first ever post, I thought I'd bring focus to the one person in my life who I know will never leave me, JESUS. As it's a Sunday today I went to church as usual and we sang such a beautiful worship song called 'Your Love Never Fails' by Jesus Culture.

I think the line that hit me most out of the whole song was- 

'You make all things work together for my good'. 

Think about it God doesn't just make some things work together for our good but ALL things; in every situation we face whether joyous or disheartning we should always remeber that God is working within them for our benefit and prosperity. How amazing is that to hear, THANK YOU GOD!!
