NYX Long Lip Pencil Haul and Swatches!

So today I'm going to be showing you my lovely NYX Long Lip Pencils that I got just the other week. Personally I love the NYX pencils as they're so affordable but still creamy and apply very smoothly! They are excellent MAC dupes as they last for hours on the lips without drying or cracking.

So the reason that I actually bought so many pencils (I bought doubles and even triples of some shades I liked) is because they were on sale on the NYX website for £1.50 each and not only that buuuuut all their sale items are on 3 for 2 right now, so they basically worked out to be £1 each! As you can tell I was a very happy lady :) I believe that they are gradually phasing out the Long Lip Pencils so grab 'em while you've still got a chance loves. I purchased Deep Purple, Currant, Plush Red, Auburn, Cabaret, Coffee, Nutmeg, Cocoa, Chestnut and Toast 

I photographed and swatched each shade in natural light but bear in mind that I'm a darker skin tone so each shade may look different on your lips than my hand.

(L-R) Deep Purple - Current - Plush Red

Deep Purple- Deep wine with red undertones

Not what you would expect when you hear 'deep' purple, more of a wine colour- MAC Magenta dupe

Can be used to line the outer lip when using lighter purple or pinky purple lipstick such as MAC RiRi Boy, Sleek Exxxagerate and Mystic. 

Current- Dark plum

Quite close in colour to Deep Purple but more on the pinky side

Plush Red- Pink toned red

Slightly different to MAC liners especially as it has more of a pinky undertone

(L-R) Auburn - Cabaret - Coffee

Auburn- Brick toned plum 

Perfect match for Wet n Wild's 918D Cherry Bomb

Cabaret- Vivid terra cotta red

Coffee- Muted brown toned pink 

Great for nudes with a pinky undertone such as Revlon's Mink

(L-R) Nutmeg - Cocoa - Chestnut - Toast 

Nutmeg- Warm brown sienna

Cocoa- Deep brown with red beige undertone

Chestnut- Chocolate brown

Slightly more orange than Toast so a very good dupe for MAC's Spice

Toast-Muted golden brown

Well known dupe for Mac's Cork, very similar but not as golden as Cork. Great outer lip liner for WOC
